We completed round 2 on Wednesday, July 16th!
The girls did better with the anaesthesia this time. It was decided that this time the girls would be woken up slowly avoiding the shock of not knowing where they were.
The girl's eyes are pretty swollen so we're thinking that they may need another surgery. Their eyes are turning outwards and their having a hard time focusing with both eyes at one time. We're being told that this may self correct as the girls heal but only time will tell.

- 3/20/08 US Citizenship completed. Papers arrived in the mail today!

- 2/27/08 Waiting period is over and the adoption is final.
- 2/13/08 Back in Utah (waiting period begins)
- 2/12/08 Judge approved our request to adopt the girls!

- 2/6/08 Meeting with the Ministry of Education
- 1/24/08 We Found Twins!
- 1/23/08 First visit to the orphanage!
- 1/22/08 Flight to Karaganda
- 1/21/08 Arrived in Almaty

- 12/27/07 Visa’s issued and picked up
- 12/20/07 Visa paperwork submitted
- 12/20/07 Issued our LOI – should be traveling around the 19th of January!
- 11/15/07 Dossier released by Kazakhstan Embassy
- 10/19/07 Dossier sent to Embassy in DC
- 10/11/07 Dossier sent to be translated!

- 9/13/07 Received INS approval to adopt! Wow that was fast!
- 9/7/07 INS application and Fingerprints sent in. They said it would take 90 days. :(
- 8/23/07 Home study completed!
- 8/21/07 FBI Fingerprints came back (No Record!)
- 8/6/07 FBI Fingerprints submitted
- 8/6/07 FBI Fingerprints taken by Heber City Police Dept.
